The heartburn was worth it. This place was a surprising standout on our Dells trip! It’s very affordable, and yeah it’s like a Panera or a Noodles & Company; but it’s very much worth it. It’s a very chill atmosphere and is right on the strip so perfect for lunch. My partner got the Mama’s Mac & Cheese and I got the Chipotle Mac & Cheese. Both were slam dunk choices. Mama’s had thin hot dog pieces where were so tasty, Chipotle Mac had really good chicken & sauce. Really recommend this place for location, price, and taste.
I absolutely loved the mac n cheese at Macs! I usually get that heavy, stuffy feeling after just a few bites of mac n cheese, but the one here was so different. Rich and creamy without being overwhelming. It had the perfect balance of flavor and comfort. I shared a regular size with my boyfriend, and he loved it too! It was just the right portion for the both of us. Definitely one of the best mac n cheese experiences I’ve had! Highly recommend if you’re a mac n cheese lover (or even if you’re usually not, this one might change your mind!).
We used to be locals in the surrounding Dells area, and then we moved north. When we come back to visit family in the area the dells has so many great options for food and entertainment. But there is just something about Macs that warms the soul. With all the options out here Macs is alway in the top 3 of the “Must haves” before leaving town! Consistently great food, great service, and wonderful staff! I truly have never had a bad experience in my many years going to Macs!! I recommend them to everyone I know that comes to the area! After not having them for a few months, my husband and I had a date night, and we got our favorites, the Memphis Mac and the Hangover Mac! it was so good!
We received a recommendation to try the Mac n Cheese here. We got the “Hangover Mac n cheese and the Memphis Mac n Cheese. Portions are large. Food was yummy! Service was friendly and efficient. Young lady at the counter made sure we were taken care of. Clean and moderately priced
Went to MACS and let me tell you — the bread was a W. It was so hard it could probably double as a self-defense weapon, which is exactly how I like it. Nothing beats nearly chipping a tooth for that perfect crunch. The mac and cheese? Also a win — creamy, cheesy, and made me question why I ever pretend to like salads. 10/10, would risk my dental work again.
I heard about this place from a coworker . I got the hangover, and my girlfriend got the loaded baked potato. They got a lot of interesting options and gave you a good amount of food for the price. The mac and cheese is very cheesy and creamy. Also, there are plenty of pamphlets to get yourself one free entree to save on money. It's definitely a place to go for lunch or dinner.
This place is AMAZING and we will be going back every time we go to the Dells. I had the Jalapeno Poppers Mac and my husband the The Memphis Mac, both kids got Mamas Mac. Everyone was so happy with their food. We can't usually go anywhere without at least one person being unhappy with their food (usually my husband) and this place was perfect and the price was even better. Portions are perfect. None of us had leftovers. If you want them get the Mac Daddy size. The staff were so amazing. Great bubbly personalities and comfortable to talk to. My son said "The Mac and cheese place was my favorite part of our trip." It was definitely a highlight for the rest of us, too. Great job!!! Major kudos!!!!
Great service and great food! We had the Memphis and the Taco. Both were absolutely delicious! We will definitely go back when we are in the Dells next time.
